Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or any other medication or supplement that is considered a blood thinner for 7-10 days before your treatment. (If you aren’t sure about a specific medication, ask us!) This will help decrease your chances of bruising.

Schedule accordingly. Even if you avoid taking blood thinners and take all the necessary precautions, bruising is possible with any injectable treatment. Give yourself at least a week or two to heal before any big events.

Worried you might not like your filler results? Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that can dissolve hyaluronic acid gel fillers in 24-48 hours, so if you are unhappy with your filler results for any reason, your treatment can essentially be reversed.
