Dysport®
Dysport® is an FDA-approved injectable used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the frown area between the brows. It is also used to relax the facial muscles in the areas surrounding the eyes, forehead and mouth to smooth crow’s feet. Similar to BOTOX® and Xeomin®, Dysport® prevents the underlying muscles at the targeted site from contracting. Dysport® is made from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum, which produces the same protein used in BOTOX® and Xeomin®. Dysport® may provide relief from migraine headaches and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
